pDuring the Noon hour Franklin Fire District 1 was dispatched for the vehicle fire on Weston Canal Rd. near Cottontail Ln. Car 26B Fredericks arriving on scene confirmed a car fire with the engine compartment well involved. Engine 263 arrived first due and stretched the 1 34quot foam line. Crews operated on scene for approximately a half hour to ensure the fire was completely extinguished. Units on scene Car 26B Engine 263 Engine 442 and the Franklin Fire Inspectors.br nbspp
