At approximately 0100 Stations 26 and 56 responded to a serious MVC with entrapement on I-287 exit 12 southbound. Upon arrival Car 56 Chief Lesik and Car 26 Chief Vladyka advised that there was a tractor trailer vs. tractor trailer accident with one driver heavily entraped and a large fuel spill. Rescue 56 extricated the patient with serious injuries. Engine 26-3 provided fire suppression stand-by and assisted Haz Mat 26 with containment of approximately 50 to 60 gallons of diesel fuel.
