Easton North Apartment Fire

pAround 1200pm Station 56 and Station 44 were dispatched to a reported fire in the bathroom of 1148 Easton Ave. Car 44 arrived with smoke showing from the apartmentnbsp and requested a 2nd alarm bringing in the rest of Fire District 1 and Station 27 as the RIT. Ladder 26 Engine 26-3 Car 26 and Car 26B all responded. Upon arrival the Truck crew was assigned overhaul duties as well as checking for fire extension. A good knockdown was made by first arriving companies keeping damage to the apartment at a minimum. brp
