ANIMAL RESCUE

During the evening hours of July 10th a concerned citizen stopped at Station 26 and reported a small kitten trapped in the storm sewer at the intersection of Elizabeth Ave. amp Pierce St. Ladder 26 who was on the road for fuel Car 26 and Van 26 responded to the area and confirmed that a small kitten was trapped in the storm sewer across the street from the Somerset Woods complex. After an hour with the help of some tuna provided by a concerned pet lover Capt Fredericks Lt. Franzyshen. FF Scott and Eng. Buono finally coaxed the kitten out of the sewer. The kitten was transported to the Franklin Township Animal Shelter for evaluation. The catnbsphas earned the nicknamenbspquot Piercequot. br clearall
