LAUNDRY ROOM FIRE

District 1 companies were dispatched to a report of a fire in the laundry room of a nursing home at 380 DeMott Lane. Upon arrival Car 56 Lesik reported sprinklers activated with a smoke condition and requested station 27 for the FAST. A line was stretched and the fire was contained to the laundry room. L-26 Car 26 and Engine 26-1 performed ventilation and other tasks on several floors. The fire is under investigation by Franklin Township Fire Marshals.
