Stations 26 and 56 were dispatched to 60 Cottontail Lane Ramada Inn 5 story hotelfor an activated fire alarm. County Communications received calls reporting a fire in the basement. A 2nd alarm high rise box was filled out. Upon arrival a fire was discovered in a dryer in the laundry room. The fire was quickly extinguished however there was a significant smoke condition in the basement and several floors above. All units operated at the scene performing extensive ventilation and searching all floors of the building. The scene was turned over to Franklin Township Fire Marshals for an origin and cause investigation.
