Vehicle Into Building Results in 2nd Alarm Fire

pAt approximately 700pm the District 1 companies were dispatched to Cafe Amici on Demott Lane for the vehicle into the building with an active gas leak.nbspCalls to 9-1-1 were received reporting a working structure fire. Car 44 arrived confirmed the fire and upgraded the assignment to a second alarm.nbspLadder 26 Engine 263 Engine 261 Car 26 and 26B responded. Upon arrival of the Truck the crew was split up to assist with ventilation and check for fire extension while the other half of the crew went to the roof. Companies operated on scene for about 1 12 hours before being cleared.br nbspp
