Sprinkler Activation At The Crowne Plaza

pAround 800pm County Communications sent Stations 26 and 56 to the Crowne Plaza on Davidson Ave. for the activated alarm. Engine 26-3 and Ladder 26 arrived to find a sprinkler in one of the ballrooms on the first floor that was activated. Crews found the activation to be caused by a high intensity flood light that was placed too close to the sprinkler. With the assistance of the crew from 56-2 the sprinkler system was shut downbrp
