On December 24, 2017 at approximately 0845 hrs this Station 26 RIT was dispatched to working structure fire in Middlesex Borough. Tower Ladder 26 and Van 26 responded and stood by without incident.
Congratulations to now Probationary Firefighters Keith Stanckiewitz 2678 and Chris Fischer 2677 on completing and passing the NJ Firefighter 1 class at S.C.E.S.T.A. They are now certified Firefighters. Firefighter 1 is 220 hours of classes that cover topics such as Right to Know, ICS-100, Fire Behavior and Chemistry, as well as everything from water supply to extinguishment and ventilation.
From Yellow Shield to Orange Shield. Chris and Keith graduated to an Orange Shield, which designates Probationary Firefighters, from the yellow Firefighter in Training shield. They have now joined the ranks of our riding members. Next step Black Shield.

Station 26 would like to congratulate Lt John Bassi as he starts his full time career in public safety . Lt Bassi was sworn in tonight as Hillsborough Townships newest Fire Inspector .
